So over the past few months I’ve made various aims for myself. One of which I reflected upon in one of previous posts. I also aimed to get myself more involved in projects that I wasn’t so familiar with, I did this by doing some stewarding for Spring Awakening and working on Heathers film. What I found by putting myself out there was that in fact I was right all along; these aspects of entertainment are not for me and i should have stayed away. This is okay though because it just proves to me that I’m on the right track and that music is the path I’m supposed to take.

Though looking back it doesn’t look like I actually blogged about any of my aims, I decided that I would aim to go and look for opportunities more so than let them find me. I’ve done this by making the most of networking opportunities and looking online for events I can get involved in. Having already blogged about everything I’ve got going on over summer I think it goes to show that I’ve achieved this aim. I feel like I’ve started to adapt my attitude to what it’s actually like to be within the industry and I’m gaining a deeper understanding of even simpler things like how to word a question to try and create an opportunity for yourself.
